Hi there HC - just posted this question to your YouTube page so ignore if you've already seen it: if the Romans abandoned the Phalanx in part because it didn't perform well in the mountainous terrain of Central Italy, why did the Greeks, who also were in a similarly environment, stick with the phalanx formation? Was it differences in where their battles were held, no other options due to technological limitations, etc? thanks!
