So much packed into this episode but let's talk about Envelope Shapers in the Drum Rack, huh!?
Added 2024-12-13 11:46:23 +0000 UTCI had NO IDEA you could drop envelopes and shapers directly into a drum rack as their own unique pads! By doing this, you can input MIDI notes into the piano roll to affect your drum hits only when they're triggered.
I've attached a quick project showcasing three ideas for using these racks to transform even the most basic rhythms. To keep things clean, all tracks are muted by default, and the Envelope MIDI notes are also muted inside the piano roll.
Start by listening to the rhythm on its own. Then, dive into the piano roll to unmute the MIDI tracks or create your own patterns. Use these racks as a template to experiment and bring your rhythms to life!
