Well, when you ask me ''Any particular reason you did not opt to use the mesh from e-football?''... In my opinion you are dissatisfied with what was provided, because someone who values and enjoyed the work would never ask this type of question or try to approach it in another way... Anyway, here's a more complete answer to ''My choice''... I started working with the COPA Pure models with the ''+'' variation, I did a complete remodeling on top of the Adidas COPA 19+, a very exhaustive process, but that in the end I was very satisfied with what I presented, a mesh that only we have (at least with a good quality). So to make the COPA Pure .1 models, and I already had a whole base worked on, where I sculpted, modeled and worked on the UV map for the ''+'' models... So I modeled this mesh ready to shape the models ''.1'', elevations for the tongue, addition of laces, heel remodeling and all the texture work. I was very satisfied with the result, and every time I do this type of work in meshes, I improve my knowledge and ability in mesh editions, I always learn new methods where each specific model requires me... Always bringing unique works with my signature, with my creative characteristics. I'm totally open to criticism, as long as it's constructive and makes me evolve, so if you could point me specifically where I could improve, that would be much better than saying ''why don't I throw away my days' work and do a conversion of a ready-made model from another game like other people are doing''. I understand the fact that you think that a 3D scan of a boot model will always (or almost) be better than an edited mesh from another base... well, in these last games we see horrible meshes, Mercurial V14/15 & S8/9 with shape unrealistic, not to mention a lot of others and the bad texture work lately. I like to compare my work with real boots and not with other people's work, one of the reasons I use real boot images in my thumbnails is always trying my best to get the shape and characteristics as similar as possible 👇 https://drive.google.com/file/d/18xiyV9LLla18mG9TwXKBvDnI886C6Qk_/view?usp=sharing And honestly, I'm 100% sure I did a great job and I'm delivering these COPA Pure models, as a set (Mesh & Textures), the best version we have out there. But I totally accept those who think differently, I just ask you to point out where I could improve on each model so that maybe I can think differently too and expand my possibilities.

I'm not trying to start an argument. It is fine for what it is, but given it's nature obviously a scanned 3d model is (almost) always going to be closer to the real thing than an edit is. Does not mean an edit can't be good or even great, just means simply that when you 3d scan something it will probably be better than something made by hand. I also included an IMG of the GX personally i think it is better than the 3d model generated by the NIKE site (since it was made for a game and has the full lacing showing it is also smaller in file size)

Any particular reason you did not opt to use the actual COPA Pure .1 mesh from e-football? (Nike GX is also available there)
