Fascinating stuff. Considering I am old skool it is interesting to me to see how RPG has exploded once it was a potential business model for people.

2022-12-25 16:23:51 +0000 UTCI have a unusual history with D&D. I started in the 1980s with B/X and AD&D. Then joined the Navy and life got in the way. I came back in 2020 with 5e. So I missed 2e, 3e and 4e. Thank you for this article, it was a fascinating and insightful read. It also brought into context all the recent yammering on Reddit and YouTube about the new OGL. Thank you for the information and lesson.
