Status update

I wanted to post an update about what's going on with Playnite's development. I'm currently finishing work on new version 4.4, which should release later this week. The focus is on metadata download improvements plus some other fixes and improvements.
In one of the previous posts I described roadmap for remaining 4.x versions, but the roadmap is changing. 4.5 version was originally focused on new theming support, but that's going to be postponed to 4.6. The reason is that I receive overwhelming number of requests for new library providers to be added (mainly Twitch, HumbleBundle and Itch). I think that brings better value to more users then theming support, so I'll be adding support for new library providers in 4.5 (not necessarily adding support for all three, but generally ability to add new providers via plugins).
Also I had plans to introduce extension/theme web gallery in 4.6, allowing people to easily share their extensions and themes. I've found that there's no ready made solution that would have features needed by Playnite, so we are going to have to implemented our own solution. Of course that's going to be quite an effort so I have removed web gallery from 4.x roadmap completely.
Last version in 4.x branch will be 4.7 introducing better test coverage.
After that I'll start planning out 5.x roadmap that will be primarily influenced by Patreon polls.
