Travel time map of the Emanai region

This is to give me (and you) a general idea now long it usually takes to travel from Samat (the red circle in the lower centre) to other nearby regions.

Travel is calculated as either foot travel, river boats, or sail ships with the easiest most common mode of transportation being used as default.

Some examples are:

It takes about 15 days of sailing to travel from Samat to lamurian cities in the south (Shirvan, Yusuf, etc)

25 days or river\foot from Samat to Uureg (the tiny peak of 25 day circle that touches the bay is where Uureg is.

Erf and Co are currently in the top right red zone around 50 days of travel from Samat

At first I thought I was looking at a weather forecast map of Emani. Haha. Once I clicked on it and took a closer look it hit me the map is radial based on travel time. Another backwards yet practical Emani practice. 😏 Im not joking about the meteorological map though. The coloration legit threw me off. The cool green and blue in center with warmer yellows, oranges & reds on the fringes. I thought I was looking at a weather forecast map of Emani. My mind went to justify what I perceived telling myself the sea would cool the climate off while steppe often has extreme heat in the summer.

dude, quote from chapter 83: "Sophia’s finger slid east from Uureg, crossed the Border Wall, then slowly curved around the northern edges of Babr Plateau heading deeper east and eventually south-east into the continent until it stopped at the red dot of ‘Bayan Gol’."

I misread this as Time Travel Map and was like "Albin! What did you do?"

Babr mountain massif is in the centre right. Bayan Gol is to the north / east from it. The Barsashahr steppe is not pictured in this map and begins in the white space in the centre-far right. The arms marched predominantly east from Uureg and around the northern slopes of Babr mountains.

Hang on, wasn't it said in a previous chapter that Bayan gol was on the east side of the barbashir mountains?
