2023-05-31 12:51:14 +0000 UTCI do have all those plans and even more - 1st book needs serious edits in terms of chapter content to make it more consistent with 2nd book and even the end of the 1st. But as you can see i am quite behind on my usual work and for some reason it completely stops my creative process when i switch to editing mode so i can't just quickly switch back and forth. If i don't get free time until this book is over, I will take an extended break until 3rd book and use that time to polish everything already written

2023-05-10 23:49:50 +0000 UTCHey Snus, I'm currently reading through Wisher Beware again, and noticing quite a lot of present tense errors. I don't really want to keep you from writing new chapters, but do you have any plans of going back and doing some editing at some point? Even just ctrl-f'ing for instances of "I've" that should be "I'd" (which is every single one that isn't in dialogue) would go a long way. Edit: My estimate is that this error occurs around 300 times in the first book. Total number of present tense errors are probably closer to a thousand, but that is more of a guess.

Though that's a bit more like the Civilization series. The aerial view could be near-level, wide angle, to capture not only the city, but it's scale to the surrounding landscape. Or one from above and behind the Border outpost with the mountains and the Forest beyond... and the Censor as the side-bust. Shahin, and a town of Yusuf, with the wind turbines nearby. So many possibilities with this, provided it doesn't limit your writing. Tana as seen by Chirp!

There was a similar type of troops historically (something that I've found accidentally after I already established the basics of Emanai arms ;V) Look up Sparabara (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/4c/Persian_army_formation.png) and (https://ancientwarfare101.weebly.com/uploads/1/9/3/4/19342985/483288_orig.jpg) apart from slightly different ratios between different troops (and having mages in their midst) this composition is quite similar to what I expect them to be.
