Scenario Structure Challenge (#1-6 - Early Access PDF)

I am! My current thinking is that "battlefield" is probably too general to tackle all at once. I've been slowly accumulating thoughts on different stories/adventures/interactions that take place during battles. A more generic structure or meta-structure may pop out of that once I've gotten a broad grasp of the different specific structures that might be valuable.

Way cool. Are you still planning to do a battlefield scenario? I put a comment on the post where you mentioned having trouble with it. My approach is to treat the battlefield at two scales, battle and player. At the battle scale I aim to have only 5 "playing pieces" per side, each with a command structure. The field has features siutable to this scale and actions and outcomes are very simplified. Everything moves slowly. At player scale they run into parts of the playing pieces, squads or command group, and parts of the map that are pertinent to PC scale. The interactions can produce modifiers for actions at the larger scale so players influence the battle to some degree. Time scale is about 10 PC rounds per battle round.
