I think I've figured out that what happens is Patreon says the file has been uploaded before it's actually uploaded. And if I hit "Post" at that point, it just posts without the attachment. I'm 95% certain that the resulting page still shows me the attachment as being there, though. (Unless I navigate back to the post.) This doesn't happen if I Edit the post and try to do an attachment. Or rather, it DOES, but when I hit Post in that situation it produces an error because the file hasn't finished uploading. Seems weird to have the different behavior, but there it is. It's been affecting the Remixing Avernus posts because the collection has gotten large enough it takes more than a couple seconds to upload. (Whereas the individual post PDFs upload fast enough that they're done before I hit the Post buttons.) I'll do my best to be mindful of this going forward.
