The Many Colours Out of Space
Added 2015-03-04 22:28:58 +0000 UTCThis sample of Lovecraftian horror was inspired by reading Ramsey Campbell's "The Voice of the Beach" in close proximity to Kenneth Hite's TRAIL OF CTHULHU and realizing that what Campbell was describing could be interpreted as another entry in the utterly alien biology of Lovecraft's "Colour Out of Space". And that really opened up the concept of the Colour for me: Once I really started delving into the different potential facets of its memetic feasting, a lot of really interesting stuff started falling out.
