I'm rendering 1.5 and I'm (as you can see on the home page) at 32%. I hope to have a new PC in a few days so I can go faster. I'm trying to make them of superior quality but I'm taking a bit too long (a not postworked sample it's Yanmei's image), it's really a lot of work, there are a lot of things and a lot of events but I'm very happy with how the next release will be and I'm sure you'll like it very much.
While my PC is struggling with renders I'm starting to write ideas for the future and season 3 (as well as planning a number of things so that I can code 1.5 as fast as possible). About season 3 I'd like to do a little poll, open to everyone because it's just a request for information.
As I said, I am considering using a new MC for season 3... I will explain the reasons in the future, in the meantime I would like to know if there is any male character that I have already used that you would like to have as MC in season 3. I don't put Mark because he already has 2 dedicated games and it would create problems for me to invent other stories about him without repeating myself. So:
Some of them would be difficult to use and to create a story about them and many of them will probably be in a different situation when season 2 ends than you know them now... but I have this curiosity

His character is not yet fully developed in NCC but there will be some things in the next releases. Maybe you would like to continue working on the Elita (maybe)

Okay, I don't know who Bernie would like to be, and I think that given his poor physical skills maybe he wouldn't be so much fun... But if you want an ugly bad greedy character ...

They would be in a different situation to the one in which we saw them in the game, also because before the end of season 2 many things will happen. This poll helped me to understand some things and to give me some ideas. For example I wasn't thinking about Richard as a character in a game but actually he could be MC in one of the stories I have in mind. In the same story I could use an MC and have Richard as a side character or not use Richard at all, in any case there will be polls to decide what I will do.

A walking Tornado if you will, will upset the existing balance and brings new blood to the series. Using the same MCs is fine if they are side characters, but carrying over existing characters over and over and making them MCs is just exhausting already dead plot points. Move forward in with the story, do not keep stuck at the present, Present a new face with a new challange.

I just don't like to play one character for an extended time. 2 seasons, and when season 3 comes out I play as another MC and start all over again doing the same thing to possibly the same women. When a ending is already given to that/those female/male character(s). And the continuation is as a character already established that I don't like. But as I have said that is me, and my weird way of thinking. :D I do enjoy what you have done with New Coral City so far.

(Goes without saying that the MC has to be good looking lol)

I just like to make my game all in the same "City" and I like the Cameo and some characters coming back. for Example Tatianna was in NCCU Loser or Idol, then in The king is back and now on NCC. She got all her story but she changes thru the game, somethings happened. So if you meet her in the next game probably she will be in a different situation. And you can know her from scratch because maybe she'll be single. I'll probably will use a new Character. This survey was just to take some info. But for example Richard (I never thought about him) could be perfect in one of the possible game I have in my mind. I didn't thought he could be the MC, but I can make this proposal when I'll share the ideas of the games. I mean: it could be. Or there will be the same game but he will be just a character... and the MC will be a new MC. But I have to admit the idea of him as MC in that game could be cool. This is just an example and it's a casuality that one of the 3/4 possible game I'm thinking about got Richard as possible character and he could be also the MC. Probably when I'll start talk about the ideas for the Season 3 things will be more clear and easy to explain and to understand

I never imagined that Richard could be the most voted and that Terrence would get so many votes. I have not yet decided what season 3 will be like, I have a lot of ideas and I wanted to figure out where to go next and what to exclude. Probably the new MC will be brand new, but in fact I think I will propose 3 or 4 different ideas about season 3 and I will discuss them and get my patreons to vote.

2020-11-18 18:31:40 +0000 UTCI actually agree with exchanging the MC. Stories tend to lose their dynamic if you drag them on unnecessarily. People might not complain as much about it, but they drift away because content becomes stale. Your question is difficult to answer though as the choice of the MC depends on where you mean to take your story. I don't imagine you'll do more of the same just with a different guy?

Because I would not like have characters I have invested time in then go do something with a new character because the MC of the previous game is written out. And I don't like any of the other male characters. :P IMO I'm looking forward to 1.5.

2020-11-18 16:32:16 +0000 UTCThere will not be the exact same cast. But there will be girls who come from old games, as in NCC there are girls who were present in my previous games. The problem with doing a new season with the same MC is that everyone would be disappointed by something. It would be impossible to keep all the paths open so at the end of the season we will decide what is the official continuity, on which I will base the events of NCC among all the possible scenarios. As said every main girl has at least two different endings. In this way I can continue their stories and develop other characters around them. The problem with using this MC is that many people arrive at the end of season 2 with an MC that has certain characteristics and a certain history and at the beginning of season 3 to have an MC in a different scenario. Anyway I'm thinking about various solutions, this poll and many others that will be dedicated to different tiers serves to find the best way to do things.

Since it is not easy for me to understand what exactly I like and sometimes talking to some of you I get ideas. but the ideas of a patreon are not always the same as those of the majority of patreons, there are many characters and in this way I'm trying to understand what the general situation is. I will do some polls also about the girl. Not only with the choice but with the star vote as I did in the past, it gives me a much more precise idea of what I like and how much I like it.
