It is piracy even if the game is intended to be free. The fact is that people are offering something they do not hold the distribution rights or the relevant permissions from the copyright holder. In this case the game creator. They are doing it for profit, also they could be adding viruses to these downloads. Copyright law is extremely complex and varies from area. The law in the UK where I live is different to the US. So it means not everyone is breaking the law in their area. However it is still considered piracy it just may not be a criminal offence (such as China, Turkey, parts of Greece and other Asian countries)

I release the game beta for people who pay 25$.. the after a week i release it for 15$ then the game it's leaked. and people who paid 10 or 5 or 1 doesn't have the game yet. sure, the game it's free a month after the release but some people can't wait a month so someone download the game and give it for free before I give the game for free. (usually the use site for download where they also earn little money more people download their files... tkib ep3 have 400 download from my link, I don't make money for the download, and 15000 download from a pirate link...) for me it's not a big problem. I think if someone want to support my project will support me anyway. but I think it's wrong, also because, i repeat... the game will be free in a month circa.

2017-09-12 14:12:42 +0000 UTCIt is a bit frustrating to see Ep4 all the way down to the free tier while Ep5 is all the way up at the highest tier. Feels like I'm paying $15 for nothing since free players have access to the same version of the game as me. Why not move both Episodes down a tier on the same day?
