Apart from her gleaming white scales and unparalleled malevolence, Avoryx also stands out with her breath ability. Instead of the good old destructive dragonfire, the dragon expells black smoke from her maw, and a tar-like liquid spills from between her teeth. Her tongue and teeth are stained black and the stench is as vile as you could imagine.
Obviously it’s not as destructive as the classic breath of fire, but seeing a figure far away in the sky surrounded by ominous black mist does fill one with a sense of dread. It’s a telltale sign of impending death.
Rumor has it that Avoryx’s spat out liquid has magical properties. Many have entertained the idea of experimenting with the substance. Tales of lethal poisons. Necromancy. Various spells and hexes. It’s mostly exaggerated stories to explain the unexplainable, but you never truly know.
