Layout Tests

This is something my layout guy and I have been batting back and forth recently. I'm hoping I'll have some actual text to share with you relatively soon. Four of the basic character classes are nearly done. Once I have finished art to accompany them, we can play around with more meaningful layout examples. For now, though, I simply wanted to show off some possible looks for the final version.

As I said, these are experiments rather than final designs. Like both of you, I prefer dark text on white, but I want to keep options open at this stage.

2021-06-03 15:34:07 +0000 UTCI quite like white text and dark ground on a chapter front page, as it separates chapters visible when "flicking through" but it's tough on the eyes after awhile, so generally prefer dark text on white for majority text.
