2023-06-21 05:23:01 +0000 UTCSo many chill and relaxed regional accents collected from the Great British general public ๐ My favourite character was the caged hamster, his voice reminded me of the soothing intonations of the actor Karl Theobald, who played the Landlord from Plebs: โSalve Grumio!โ, and Dr Martin Dear from Green Wing (now why hasnโt anyone reacted to Green Wing yet? Itโs hilarious, so wacky and left field, and so many oddball characters, with such a strong ensemble cast that have gone on to do great things) Some very nice touches of animation in there to bring the characters alive, similar to The Ricky Gervais show, itโs like the animatorsโ have too much time on their hands, and during the maybe weeks they take to plan and animate it all, they have plenty of time to come up with little extra touches ๐ They've probably got more of a problem cutting down all the great ideas that could pop up in that time. An ad-lib or improvisation in the animation world must still take the order of hours or days to implement ๐ Theyโre operating on different timescales!
