Hello, Helpful Humans, Tinkerers, Engineers, and all!

I'm pleased to say we'll be having our first ever Foundry Forge Session in a couple of days! I wrote a little bit about this in Monday's progress update, but I unfortunately did not take that opportunity to prepare you for this week's topic.

So, two whole days in advance, let's have it:

The Foundry Forge

When: Friday, November 9th, 6:30-7:30pm CST

Where: The Tale Foundry Discord server, in the #the-foundry-forge and #the-foundry-forge-voice channels. Make sure your Patreon account is linked to your Discord account in order to participate (click here to see how). Only Engineers (10+ patrons) can type in chat, but everyone can watch and listen.

Topic: As we wrap up our Worldbuilding series, we're also preparing for our long-awaited Terry Pratchett series. So this time we're going to be discussing the book Small Gods, by Terry Pratchett. If you haven't read it , don't worry—I'll start by giving a brief overview of the book and its plot. From there I'll give you some of my opinions and impressions, and we'll open a conversation about what parts of the story I'm most interested in from a writer's perspective, and which of those are most likely to make it into a video.

Remember: It's a "forge" session because the ultimate goal is to learn and make something up together. Be ready to give your thoughts and your opinions, and feel free to share any resources you might have at your disposal!

And this is not how I normally plan on doing thing, because I want you guys to have time to read/research the material as well. So this time and this time only, we have a two-for-one!
