Daily Update: Rust-Colored Linings

Yesterday I missed my window to make the daily update (which I apologized for), because after recording the audio for the upcoming episode we had to rush to a Lindsey Stirling concert—one of my birthday presents for Chloe/Chloe's birthday presents to herself. That was a blast, and I'm recovering from the lovely evening now...
But that's kind of offset by the fact that, listening back to the audio, we have a ton of gain peaks throughout the wave form. Soooo it looks like we'll have to re-record. Not the greatest tragedy of all time, but it's definitely rough. I blame the instability of our recording setup. Right now we're just kind of hopping from walk-in closet to walk-in closet. Nothing permanent, nothing reliable. There's lots to keep up on every single time we record, so it's not a shocker this happened. It's just disappointing, and it's gonna cost us in time (seeing as we have exactly 17 days left to finish this video).
Ah well! We'll make the best of it. We have Felipe on to help with visuals this time, so things should go a whole lot faster than usual anyway.
