Daily Update: Einstein Says
Added 2018-07-05 23:29:10 +0000 UTCSometimes, when you get deep enough into a subject, all the work you've put into reduction and concrete anchoring actually leads to a weird spiral into absurdity. It's something I have to keep a careful eye on with every script I write, but this time it's been a plague.
I'm just about done with the outline now, although it's been a hard-fought victory. I thought I had a really good handle on all of this two days ago, but as you write and try to articulate things succinctly, you begin to realize how little you actually know. There's a saying purportedly by Albert Einstein (although aren't they all) that I really like: "If you can't explain it simply, you don't know it well enough." I like that.
So the phase I'm on right now is re-writing the outline after re-discovering an reducing the thesis for about the billionth time. But this really feels like the one that'll stick. Although it's a complex topic, you can say it pretty simply.
Now I just have to cap it off with a conclusion and... write the whole dang script.
But! It's on the way. Faster than most videos too, it feels like.
For now, I'm gonna hop back into it. Hope I see you at tomorrow's think tank!
