Hoo-rah. I don't know precisely what kind of time-frame that puts us on, but at least we have something concrete to show for our efforts. Between wrangling sources, thinning an abundance of material, and finding clever ways to write every unique piece of this script, this thing has been a disproportionately massive amount of work. I think it'll be worth it, but phew. I'm ready to go into hibernation. I think I might, in fact.
Yep. A season of rest.
It'll only be about 9 hours long (or less, depending on how long it takes the sun to go up this time), but that's neither here nor there.
I think tomorrow is going to be a recording/visuals day. By visuals, I really mean "preparing some brand assets we need for websites and stuff." Like the new logo. I need to create a vector graphic for that. We've also got a Reddit page you guys unlocked that's still waiting for some fancy new sprites before it can go live. On top of all that, I'd also like to create those progress bars I mentioned yesterday.
As an aside, I feel like that last few updates have been pretty dry. I'm sorry about that. The script-writing process isn't the flashiest bit, and I'm walking a fine line between spoiling everything and letting you know where I am in the process/what I'm facing right now. If you guys are cool with me going a little more in-depth with what in particular I'm struggling with at each point in the process, let me knowβI will totally start trying to fill you in on the daily.
For now, though, that's all I've got. If you'll excuse me, I'm gorge myself rapidly in preparation for the period of hibernation to come. Wish me luck!
