You'd think my wrists would hurt after a full day's script-writing, but for one reason another it's actually my left buttock. Perhaps I sat in a strange position on that armchair in Starbuck's for the hours I was there. It feels a lot like I just did fifty squats, but leaning heavily to one side.
Oh well. The cost of productivity is dear, and productivity there was.
Today I banged out half of the completed script for the list video, which I feel is pretty good considering the length of the outline (again, ~11 pages or so). I've managed to reduce it to three pages thus far, so we can expect 6-7 pages for the final product, which (in my experience) should translate to anywhere from 14-17 minutes of video. That's not a guarantee, mind you; it's just a ball-park.
Boy am I looking forward to all the comments about how I'll butcher the pronunciations~ At least this time we'll have a little lampshading in the intro:
"Now, with a mild caution about my guaranteed-to-be-terrible pronunciation, on to the beasts and bogeymen:"
At any rate, hopefully this means I'll be completely done with the writing either today or tomorrow. Fingers crossed and procrastination checked, hey?
