"Daily" Update: Progress and Paradigm Shifts

We just sent out a message to all our other fans on our social media sites, explaining the barrier between a creator and their audience, and how for us that melted away when we saw how much they care.
We've made some incredible progress in just 48 hours. We had no idea things would go over this well. In fact, we were dreading what could have come of us making this kind of very personal plea to our audience. We thought we'd be lucky to end up with something in the ballpark of $800, which would have still been incredible.
The actual result is frankly unbelievable.
I copy-pasted the progress update about this to all our social media sites, but this one needs to be different, because something different happened with our patrons. With all of you, that barrier I mentioned melted away the moment you made your pledge.
And then many of your wen the extra mile. And for something that doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the how itself, but with us an our personal lives. For that... I don't know where I stand. At least, I don't know how to express it.
I suppose this is what you'd expect from family. This kind of support.
