The New Year

The Box Comes Open

As you can see, 2018 is ringing some very big changes. Not to the show itself, but to the show's lifeblood: our Patreon community. There's a lot to go over here, so we'll try not to mince words.

First off, Lifetime Rewards. As of now you're all going to start getting cumulative rewards for your incredible loyalty. The more you've contributed to the show, the bigger the rewards you'll reap. All relevant information should be in the infographic above, but if you have any questions, feel free to message us here on Patreon. We'll be sending out our back-log of lifetime rewards over the course of the next month or two, and from that point on you can typically expect to receive your rewards within a 60-day period of unlocking them. By the way, this is what your taleoid will look like when you unlock the $420 reward:

Second, we've officially changed our upload schedule (although we have yet to pick through all of our websites and change the information on them to reflect this; expect that change soon as well). We're no longer attempting to upload our three-part series by-the-month. The content we produce requires a lot of work. Trying to squeeze it all into such an ambitiously short timeframe was both piling unnecessary stress onto us and hurting the quality of our work. So expect 1-2 videos a month going forward and our series to be a little more sporadically-spaced from this point on. This should also allow us the freedom to consider one-shot episodes and more experimental pieces now and then, although that's only a possibility right now, not a probability. Not yet.

Third, we've re-calibrated our Patreon goals to be more reflective of our new trajectory as of this year. We're hoping these ones are a little more permanent, as they're also a lot more ambitious. Be sure to check them out so you know where we're headed!

Finally, we've added a new design to our store! It was created for us by the lovely Molecula and will be available as an alternative on most of the items we offer. We'll also be updating the store over the next few days to be more reflective of the new breadth of our merchandise, so keep a lookout for that.


Moving Forward

A lot of our time over the last month has been dedicated to preparing this gift to the community. We hope you enjoy it, because it really feels long overdue. You've all been supporting us with little to nothing to show for it, so it feels good to finally be putting something in your hands for all the help you give us!

Once the dust settles from this update and everything is sent out, we should be able to a steadier, less frantic workflow. The H.P. Lovecraft series is still on the way, and we're excited to delve in Slavic Mythology afterward.

It's going to be a good year, and we're glad you're all here for the ride. Let's keep making something great together.
