What is The Forge?
The Forge is a voice and text chat on our Discord server where we stream our research process and other behind-the-scenes materials for patron eyes only. You'll get to see us on a more casual basis here and have more intimate conversations that wouldn't otherwise happen during streams or youtube videos.
This is the best way to spend time with the team!
Where is the Forge?
You can find The Forge on our Discord server. Simply scroll down the list of channels until you find #The-Forge and The-Forge-Voice. These are the channels we use for Forge sessions.
#The-Forge is our Forge session text chat, which we use to communicate with the majority of our patrons during Forge sessions, and where we share images and media if we need to.
The-Forge-Voice is our Forge session voice chat, where we stream our desktop during study and speak to all our patrons who are in text chat.
When are Forge Sessions?
Forge sessions happen on a sporadic basis, whenever there's material to study or discuss at length! Join the discord server and keep your eyes peeled for notifications! We'll let you know when it's time!
How can I participate?
First, you need to make sure your Patreon and your Discord accounts are connected. Here's a handy guide on how to do that.
After that, there are a few ways to participate, just hop into text chat and join the conversation whenever we go live!
