How Would You Feel About...

We've been steadily trying to increase the quality of research/production for our series, which has kinda had a stretching effect on them. We spend way more time planning and producing these things than we used to, and honestly it's kind of... sort of... utterly and entirely obliterated our "monthly" format. Like, we'd originally planned to do Lovecraft "month" in October, but I'm looking out the window right now and there's snow. Giant, luxuriant, very un-spooky flakes casting about like television static...
At this point, we're thinking the "monthly" plan is probably worth abandoning altogether for more sporadic upload dates. We still plan to put out up to two videos per month—we just don't wanna tether them to Octobers and Novembers and promised-in-Decembers. Instead of "H.P. Lovecraft — November 2017", it'll just be "H.P. Lovecraft (series)".
This more open format could also free us up to do one-off analytical videos now and then. We've always floundered with more specific pieces, because how do you stretch Catcher in the Rye or Brave New World across three videos? We still want to focus on these series cause it's kinda our thing, but the more options the better, right?
It's an exciting idea and—full disclosure—would relieve a lot of the team's stress. But before we make anything official we wanna get some feedback on all of this from you guys.
