You could use the number of sales of your acrylic figures to know which girls like the fans. So, if an acrylic figures sells well, you could possibly make a dôjinshi with the character of the figure. This way, you won't take the risk that your dōjinshi won't sell well. Example: Acrylic figure on Mizumo Ami/Sailor Mercury, Rin (Hokuto no Ken) and Shampoo (Ranma 1/2) = Big succes = Dôjinshis selling well.
