Leon's dad is an outspoken man compared to his wife, he is loud and is passionate about sports. He married his wife while studying in college, he became a head coach for a small team after he graduated and made time for his wife and son. However, once he became head coach for a national football team (idk sports but let say his statues is the same as an NFL Coach) he spent less time and focused on his career.

Leon's dad wants Leon to become an athlete which is something Leon doesnt want to do, his father refuses to listen to Leon and provide him the best coaches for every team he's on, excerice and food regiment. Leon felt trapped in the idea of sports being his entire persona. Leon father would be harsh towards Leon if he wins or loses, he felt this was the best for him to "grow up" Leon's dad wants him to be number one in everything which builds more pressure to Leon.

Now that Leon is an adult he doesnt listen to his dad, he barely sees him just like his mother. When Leon does see his parents it's short and to the point. Leon's dad is still trying to have Leon switch career but he refuses.

Leon's dad doesnt support his sexuality which is touched on towards the middle of the story since he barely there due to always being busy busy busy.
