Leon's mother went to college to study fashion and design and met and fell in love and eventually married her husband. Both her and her husband were hyper focused on their careers and rarely saw each other once they became truly busy and a success. They still do love each other but they also love work. When Leon's mother became pregnant she decided to take some time off and dedicate herself to Leon. However, it didnt last long when she eventually went back to work.
Leon's mother means well but she doesnt understand her way of parenting or non parenting has caused a rift in her relationship with her son. When they did spend time together Leon loved being around his mother much more than his father., However, these visits were cut short and he would barely see his parents.
She plays a role in the 90s AU but isnt really around until mid way in the story. When Leon came out to her she was stunned but supportive yet Leon really couldn't feel comfortable completely telling his mom especially at a time were majority were not out. Leon slowly realized he didnt care what his parents thought and moved on. Leon's mother is supportive and she would try to find a way to show it.
