Eclipse- Exploration

I been returning to the lore of R.E.M and I really want to explore Eclipse and her design, I created Eclipse back when the store was very different than what it is now, I enjoy the idea that she played the counterpart of The Queen of the Night who also is having a redesign. I like to see them as the Sun (Lili), Queen of the Night (Moon) and Eclipse (Eclipse) lol

Eclipse is a woman who takes on many forms if you look into my later work you can see she's taken the form of a harpy. She's quiet and emotional if a bit ignorant. Since the story is both based on Lili memories and stories she created as a child I like to think that Eclipse holds a childhood memory for Lili. Good or bad? who knows, however, she's very protective of Lili. All she wants to do is hold her close and tell her she is safe. Lili enjoy drawing allot as a child making up stories with her father so Eclipse is a character she created for these stories that play out in her dreams.

I take allot of inspiration from Opera costumes and arias. I been trying to find ways that I can still use these characters in the story of R.E.M. R.E.M use to be about a fantasy world created by Lili's dreams. However, it began to feel more like a MMO and less like a dream.

I want the story to begin with her believing she's the queen of the sun and realizing it was all a fake and goes through many doors with many different memories and worlds that do not relate to the beginning of the story. I want the story to feel like a dream and less like a fantasy. I want the viewers (like yourself) to understand this is a world with many doors, mirrors and windows leading to memories and reenactments of these memories in clever ways. I felt if I left it as a fantasy world it wouldn't get my point across of self healing, love and forgiveness.
