Blue Moon
Added 2023-12-29 22:53:40 +0000 UTCI started on the sketch earlier this month, it was based on an Art Deco poster. I wanted to try to make it as close to the reference but half way I gave up and just focused on the pose, I made her moth/butterfly wings bigger but it made the entire piece awkward so I decided to not go with that idea. I really love this illustration, it brings me back from my mirror series. Honestly the most part I had difficulty with was her mouth! I kind of settle with a smile, but man was it rough. expressions are important to me so it really gets frustrating when nothing goes well. however, I do enjoy the expression in this one. Either way please enjoy!
I plan to post the video process tonight one with commentary and one with out. as well as a life update and if I can push until Sunday a character video of Jasper of the 90s AU ;) I love blue colors and I really do think this looks as beautiful as it can be with my abilities :)
