The world of R.E.M are figments of her memories and within those memories there are many aspects to her childhood daydreams. Lili is a storyteller and would spend time in her room creating stories and worlds with her friends. The typical princess and prince tales of nightmarish creatures and the good spirits, knights, goddesses and gods who protect her and her kingdom. Now that Lili’s subconscious would do anything to keep her in a deep sleep it would create her world of fiction into her reality and once it begins to crumble so do the characters she loved and created go with it. The nightmares become overwhelming and not even her prince can save her
Slumber is a character who knows all and will reveal all. Slumber is a guardian who seems troubled by the Queen’s kidnapping. Slumber will bring the Queen back by force and eliminate the danger because clearly she doesn’t understand that all they want to do is keep her safe as she created them to protect her at all times. With no sense of control of her dream it seems she will go up against the lovely characters she created
