Jasper loves music, as a child Jasper's father would constantly play records of Billy Idol, Wang Chung, The Smiths, The Cure etc... which gave Jasper an admiration and passion to play his own music.
I made this AU to begin in 96 because it is a perfect time where music from the 80s is heavily influenced and listen as well as 90s music begins to take over the mainstream as well as merge with 80s.
Jasper even in canon has a beautiful voice because he's not that different from the AU. Jasper has always been and always have that passion to live out his rock star dream.
