An OVA is an episode which benefits from more budget than a standard episode and which comes out directly and only in video (dvd, blu-ray). A TV Special is a special episode that airs on television. A film is a feature film that comes out in theaters. So these are three different formats. Finally, I think each person is free to name this kind of production as they wish, yes. You are right. ; )

Watch out, Yamamoto-san! The story with Bardock is a "TV Special", not an "OVA". The only OVAs on Dragon Ball Z are: 1/ Raichi 2/ Raichi (remake) 3/ Goku and his friends are back. 4/ Episode of Bardock (Bardock Super Saiyan VS. Chilled).

Yes. Like I said, Seripa's hair and eyes aren't all black in the TV Special. Toei Animation created an error. It was only later that Toriyama-sama revealed in a chapter that all Saiyans have black hair and eyes. Seripa, as well as other Saiyans in the TV Special, have colorization errors. Even Vegeta in Dragon Ball Z, Episode 005, has the same hair color as Seripa. For Nappa, we don't really know if he's bald. I think he shaves his head, like Kuririn. Either way, he's a Saiyan. He's bound to have had black hair in his life. Besides, his eyes and even his mustache are black. Yamamoto-san, I really like your professionalism! Other than Gine who appears to be a woman who really loves Bardock, I think Saiyans don't have feelings for each other (Vegeta himself says this in the Dragon Ball manga and Dragon Ball Z anime). So, it wouldn't be impossible for Saiyans to all fuck with each other. They are still monkeys, animals.

The character of Seripa was born before the release of the chapter on Vegeta which says that Saiyans have black hair. Yesterday, on the live, someone said that Seripa has black eyes. In fact, she does have purple eyes in the TV Special. But that eye (and hair) color given to Toei Animation for Seripa is a mistake. Someday, if I commission Yamamoto-san about Seripa, maybe I'll ask him for a black color for her hair and eyes, I don't know. Yamamoto-san, you are the king of male pleasure! My eyes are feasting and I say a BIG THANK YOU!
