same!!!! im actually trying to get back on it, I been drawing digitally for so long I miss sketching, im trying to not think so hard as well, I tend to want to outline my sketches which makes them look strange, I started just letting go and being loose that my sketches really are shining! I say draw on paper once a day even if it is doodle to get use to it. :)

I Cant really decide! haha, there was this one sketchbook that I REALLY loved back in the day, it was cheap but the paper quality was perfect for me, thats actually where I started R.E.M I used so many mediums heavy and wet and yet everything layered perfectly, it was a toothy one. however, they stop selling it and the ones they do have the paper lost it quality. sometimes I wonder if I was just having to much fun sketching to notice the lack luster in quality lol. I use a Denka sketchbook any size really, though I enjoy larger sizes. This sketchbook is by illo but they are a great brand but a tiny bit costly ;_;
