It is when Lili begins to shine and feel more involved in taking action. I enjoy the trope when characters cut off some of their hair as a symbolism to start a new chapter and to show the viewer they have grown and are more stronger and confident. Sure you can receive the same personality traits with long hair but something about Lili losing all that universe hair the stars that shine bright in every strand is now gone. However! she isnt hopeless but she does stop trusting others after finding out truths
