Mass Effect: In the Name of Science

Woo boy, where to begin with this one. I can safely say that I’ve never put as much energy into a set or anything as I have with this one. I started it on the 6th and only finished it on yhe 25th. So it was almost 3 weeks. I don’t think that I’ve ever spent as long on a single project.

But the result is the longest set I’ve made coming in at a smooth 140 images. But what are my thoughts on the set itself? Honestly that’s tough to say at the moment. I struggled a lot during this set with lighting issues and the collector models rig. But those are fixeable after a bit.

No the main issue was just motivation. Working on something for this long I really really struggled to keep focused and stay motivated to work on it.

At the moment I’m just glad it’s finally over. But am I happy with the set? Tough to say. I think my opinion of the project is somewhat skewed as I was just sick of it by the end. However, I do believe thar when I look back on the set in the future I’ll look at it with fresh eyes and I’d enjoy it a lot more.

I do wish things turned out better especially with the Collector. The model was stiff as it’s the usual SFM rig. But I did get better with it by the end so for future use I’ll be much better with it.

I do plan on something with Miranda with this set. Either as a sequel or a small bonus add on I’m not sure let. At the moment I’m just gonna move on to the next project which is finishing off the Fight Night set with Tifa.
