Hey everyone.
Though it’s easier for myself and everyone to put my response to everyone’s suggestions here in one post as opposed to replying to everyone individually. Just wanna say off the bat thank you to everyone who left a comment or sent me a message. I really do appreciate it.
So, on to the suggestions, a few did catch my eye. One that really did was a project set around Panam taking on a contract where she’s gotta take out her target with a Sniper rife only to find that her nest isn’t so safe after all. That has a lot of potential and something I can work with.
There’s a perfect location to use for this set, just gotta wait for it to release then I can begin work on that idea. So to the person who suggested this idea - thanks!
One of the other takeaways from this was that people wanted more content with Ciri. So I’ll see if I can feature her in some more smut. One thing I want to mention though - and long time members will know this as it’s a weird stance I have - is that I hate crossovers. I don’t know why I just can’t stand them. So it’s very, very, very, very unlikely I’d ever do a crossover set with someone like Tifa and Commander Shepard.
I know that it’s limiting myself, however I find a lot of joy and satisfaction in taking the extra steps to make everything I release feel faithful or accurate to the IP it’s based on. It’s a weird hill to die on, but one that I feel strongly about.
We also had some suggestions for futa content. I’m afraid this is another no from me. Nothing really crazy why, just not into futa content in the slightest I’m afraid.
But it’s not all doom and gloom. I’ve started work on my next set that’s different to my usual stuff as it’ll be a FMMM set. I don’t think I’ve ever done one like that. So this will be a first. Even though I’ve spent the last week in a frustrated state when it comes to making smut, I did learn two useful tools that will improve my future content.
The first of these is that I can now port DAZ environments from DAZ into Blender way, way easier than before. There is a real lack of environments for Blender that aren’t ported over from agame. So if I wanted to do a Half Life set for example I’d have to use a scene from a game which ruins the immersion for me. So now I can import over generic locations like hospitals, sewers, rooftops etc.
Although I’ve rigged some models in the past, I’ve never really got the hang of it. However for my current project I found and rigged a few Arkham Knight Militia models to use. It’s not top tier quality, but it gets the job done. This could be that rigging other SFM models in the future is possible. For example other male NPC’s from the Witcher games.
Honestly though, that block I had over the past week or so when it came to making something was just driving me nuts. I was growing more frustrated with every passing hour. I had a million ideas, but nothing was catching my interest. All of your ideas and suggestions did genuinely help. So thank you to everyone for that.
Now since I’m back to making content, my mind is in a far, far better place.
Cheers
