Final Fantasy: Scarlet's Web - Part 1

Bringing down Shinra was no easy task. Yet for Avalanche there was no bigger enemy than the soulless and cruel organisation that was literally draining the life blood from the planet. Therefore, at least according to Barret, there was no cost too high if it meant the end of the Shinra Electric Power Company. 

However, that isn’t to say that all shared certain members’ extreme beliefs. For Tifa, the destruction of Shinra could not come at the cost of innocent people losing their lives. Whereas the likes of Barret and Jessie were fond of the more explosive options, Tifa’s weapon of choice was far more subtle. 

Time was running out for the team as Shinra’s plans were fast approaching. If Avalanche wanted to put a stop to them or hinder them at the very least - their moment to strike had to be soon. Luckily Shinra were hosting an expansive and luxurious evening filled with the finest food, drinks and entertainment. When Shinra’s eyes were distracted, this was Tifa and her team's time to strike. Nobody would expect a group of terrorists to be hiding right under Shinra’s nose.

Their plan was simple. Tifa, Barret and Cloud would infiltrate the ball whilst dressed in their finest dinnerware. From there Tifa would open the window on the upper floors to let Yuffie in. At which point Barret and Cloud would cause a distraction, allowing both Tifa and Yuffie to slip through and make their way to the Advanced Weapon department.  

However, as the two of them would find out too late, even the best laid plans often go amiss…

Time for self reflection. Really enjoyed by time with this set. The biggest challenge I faced was just how much I underestimated how big this set was going to be. What was meant to be just 10 or so images with Tifa and Yuffie ended up becoming almost a full set. Combine that with Scarlet’s stuff and this is pretty much a full 80 image set. 

However I hadn’t even reached the main event with the monster. Which was why I decided to split it into two parts so I can give each section its proper attention. Nothing worse than half arsing a set imo. Either go hard or go home, in my opinion. 

I’ve still got some big plans with the rest of the set that will allow me to do some interesting poses if all goes to plan.

As always, I love working with Tifa. I think if I had to have a video game crush, it would be her as she’s perfect. First time using the Yuffie model. Not as bad as I feared. Some lacking features compared to Tifa and some quirks with her that I need to work around. But overall, not too bad. 

Then we come on to the big booba behemoth that is Scarlet. Haven’t used this model of her for a few years as I wasn’t too happy with the one I used in ‘Lockdown Blues’. Although this one has some different body proportions than I usually use, I ended up really liking her look. Really captures her femme fatale vibe I get from her. 

Overall, very happy with how part one came out. Next I’m on to a RE set then I’ll come back to this to finish it off.
