Ended up having to cut the plans for this set short. I had almost 50 images done but the Barron model I was using had some more limitations than I first thought. Th elack of face bones was bad enough but his body was a pain to use and didn't look as good as I'd hoped in this lighting. So I decided to just cut the set short into a mini one of sorts.
I'm sorry to everyone who wanted a longer set - believe me, no one is more annoyed than myself - but I just couldn't get the energy to power on through and release something I wasn't happy with. Plus I feel like I kinda blew my load too early with this set as the action with Emhyr was better then the action with the Barron. So all the good stuff was done and rendered and I had little to no inspiration to work on the rest as I'd made everything I wanted to do with it.
This was also my issue with dgoo stuff in the past as you're limited to poses you can use. However, this came out better than I thought so I'll do more of this in the future and perhaps keep it to mini sets like this where I'm not under pressure to make this a 100 image set.
But on to the positives as I don't want top dwell on how I've failed on this set. The images with Ciri and Emhyr came out really good and I was happy with this. I think the BJ section is my favourite of the set.

To some extent I agree. However there are some big key differences that make LeGuymelef’s better imo. The main reason is the face rig. With long sets I need the ability to create good and varied facial expressions. This one allows me to do that as the rig is fantastic. The other reason is that I found Niodreth’s rig to be a bit weird particularly with the wrists as they’d often break the mesh in certain positions. Then there’s the wet/dirt skin shaders that really come in handy with these long form sets. The last main reason is that it brings the models together as all of my Witcher models I use as by LeGuymelef so they all look similar. Whereas if I had niodreth’s ciri, she’d look out of place or different compared to the others. But I can see your point about body proportions. It’s just that for me, the positives outweigh the negatives

2024-08-14 08:20:03 +0000 UTCIm slightly disappointed that you seem to have switched to using the leguymelef Ciri instead of the Fenrir'sRevenge/niodreth one, the latter in my opinion is much higher quality and much more game accurate. Problem with leguymelef model is the face, its not game accurate, and the body looks like teenage girl's instead of canon ciri proportions, who has broad shoulders and back width, long legs, and is tall

I think I'll do a set with a combination of Ciri with either Triss or Yen (or al three) with the Baron as that takes some of the pressure off of the Baron's model and on to the witches. Plus I'll set it in a darker envirment so I can work around his limintations a bit
