FOM: Hedorah (Concept Art)

The earliest design points were that it had to have more than two eyes and that it would be more fungus-based rather than simply indiscriminate muck.
The final design discarded the ringed frill around the neck and the webbed mycelium because I didn't think they looked good when enlarged, made it look like he had fins rather than mushroom gills. Also the intestine-like gut tentacles the final design had were made up as they were being drawn because I did not know what his front was like at this point.
