Hey everybody!

I've been pretty scattered this last week. I've been working a lot. Didn't really take any days off. And my mind has been mostly focused on work.

But when I'm not working, my mind has been all over the place, mostly thinking about various forms of tabletop role-playing games. I've been getting an itch to run more and play more than my biweekly Sunday D&D game.

So I've started playing in an online game, and I started running another online game, and I started running a little play-by-post game in my Discord chat.

Sometimes my brain gets hyper-focused on these things and it's hard for me to break way. Even in the moment, it's obvious to me that I can't do all of these things on a continuous basis, but right now that's all my brain wants to do.

Anyways, I played with a new group of people online and that was fun. And I'm running a Shadowdark RPG game with my usual D&D group every other Wednesday now online, and I'm looking forward to that as well. The other online groups, I may end up backing out of eventually, but I've been trying to meet new people and make new friends, so this is helping with that, hopefully.

I haven't really left the house in the last week either, I don't think, except to walk out and check the mail. It's been too hot to really go out and do anything. It's supposed to be cooler over the next couple of days though, so I may take some time off tomorrow to go on a hike and maybe clear my mind a bit.
