Hey everybody.

Last week has been mostly good for me. In my spare time, I mostly did a bunch of 3d printing and painting and D&D stuff. Yesterday, we had D&D, which was super fun and we watched a crazy 80s movie that I'm shocked even exists.

The movie is called The Return of Captain Invincible. I found it while looking through Alan Arkin's IMDB the other day, after his passing. I saw that Christopher Lee was in it, then I checked out the trailer and WOW. I was just shocked that this movie exists and I've never heard of it. It really seemed like the kind of movie that would have become a cult classic. It's an extremely silly superhero comedy musical about a Superman-like hero who people turn on and he's forgotten, then they need his help when he's a washed up alcoholic many years later. Basically the same plot as The Incredibles lol. Anyway, it was very goofy and while it wasn't fantastic, it's worth watching if only for hearing Christopher Lee sing a song about liquor.

Aside from the fun stuff, there's been some frustrating stuff this past week too. I had a whole ordeal with a storage shed being built in my back yard. It's just one of those plastic sheds that you can get at the hardware store. I had it delivered, but then I was not sure I could assemble it, even with a couple of friends, so I decided to pay somebody to assemble it. I found a handyman service that I thought was reliable, but they overcharged me and did a really shoddy job. I still had to go out with my partner and spend a couple hours fixing everything they messed up. After it was out of the box, it was much less intimidating and I think we could have easily put it together ourself. Chalking it up as a lesson learned. Next time, do it myself, because random people you find to do things are rarely going to do a good job.

We've also been struggling with one of my dogs. My big fluffy Great Pyranese, Peluche. For years now, he's been aggressive towards my other dog, Panchito. He's always growled at him when they're eating, blocked him from going through doorways or small areas, and gotten into occasional fights. It's gotten worse since we've moved to the new house. Yesterday, they got into the biggest fight so far and Panchito was hurt a little. Peluche bit through his ear and made him bleed quite a bit. That was the last straw for me, so we've made the decision to take Peluche to my mom's house and have him live with her for a while. Not happy about this and have been going back and forth about it for a while. I love Peluche and I don't like the idea of him not living with me. But I think it's probably best for both dogs and for us as well. Also, my mom has been wanting a dog for a while and she loves Peluche and he loves her. It just makes me sad, because I'll miss having my big fluffy boy around all the time. He'll be at mom's house though, so it's not a goodbye really. And this may not be a permanent thing. We're just going to try it out for a while to see how they do.

Anyway, that's my life the last week. Hope y'all are all doing great. Love ya!
