Hey everybody!

Quite a week for me. Been very busy. Mostly on work stuff. I had to do taxes this week too, which wasn't fun, but was very informative.

Last year, I didn't make all that much money. Just enough that I had to file taxes, but I was able to do it all myself. This year, there was a big increase in funding, and I had to figure all that out, including how much I had to give the government (about 25% of what I made). So I had to hire an accountant to do all of that for me and walk me through everything. She was great and taught me so much and now I feel like a real damn boss-bitch. I got all my stuff organized and my financials in order. Still have to come up with some more money before April to pay the taxes, which were higher than I expected them to be, but I think I can handle it.

Besides all of that, I've been cleaning and organizing my desk space, trying to get rid of a bunch of things, and just generally becoming more adult.

I also played a bunch of new video games. We've been playing through the new Dead Space, which is super fun. Yesterday, I played a bunch of games just trying them out.

I tried Effie, which I'll probably go back to sometime. It was pretty fun. I tried Else Heart.Break() , which was interesting visually, but I'm not really into. I tried Tooth and Tail, which was another that I thought I would like, but I ended up not really being into all that much.

Then I tried I Am Fish. And I immediately fell in love with it. My partner saw me playing it and wanted to watch me play. So we ended up playing through the entire game in 6 hours yesterday. And I absolutely adored it. It's equally cute and frustrating, but never so frustrating that I felt like quitting. Just enough to make me want to try again. Loved it.

I guess that's about all I got this week. Feel like I've been doing things constantly, but it's mostly just work work work. Hope you all are doing great and have an amazing week. Love ya!

Becoming an S-Corp can save you $$$, assuming you earn enough to to justify it.
