RJ Ramblings
Added 2022-01-24 14:46:56 +0000 UTCI'm probably not in any state to write this right now, but I'm going to spit out a few words anyway. I've had not the best week, mentally.
My roommate, who pays the bills and owns the house where we live, is having issues at her job and may end up losing her job. She's a nurse and she's been on suspension since early last week. She was supposed to go back to work today, so I thought the situation was good, but when she got there this morning, HR called her and told her that she needs to still be on suspension while they "figure out some paperwork." I just found this out about ten minutes ago.
So this whole thing makes me a bit of a wreck as I don't know what's going to happen to my living situation. If she loses her job, I don't know if we're going to be able to stay where we are. I want to move out soon anyway, but the money is not there right now. We don't currently make enough to live on our own in a place that I would be okay with living at. And there were other things that I really wanted to do before we moved out. I'm just hoping we can hang on here a little longer, but I don't know what's going to happen right now and I'm tired of having my mental well-being tied to somebody else's work performance.
Add to that I've had a bit of a stomach ache all weekend, I feel like my hair looks like trash, I haven't been working out as much as I want because I've been tired and achy, and I need to set up dentist and doctors appointments, and I need to order groceries, and I don't feel like cooking or eating a damn thing -- and that's where my head has been right now.
Okay. Rambling/Venting over. Gonna get back to work now. Notice that I didn't include working on the game as any sort of problem - please don't tell me to take a break from working. It's one of the only things I actually enjoy doing and makes me feel good.

We are behind you and so you do not have to worry. The game will still be here and you will be ok just take things a day at a time and do not over stress.

Sadly, I know many (myself included) who are in a similar situation of living life by the whims and conditions of those around them - it's frustrating to say the least, so I can certainly relate.
