August Story Poll

My bad. Okay, so a few point-of-order things before we start. First, thanks everyone who's made the transition over to Fanbox, it's greatly appreciated. Two, Fanbox does not have a poll system. That has been an issue I have worked at for the past week or so in trying to determine what I want to do about that, and ultimately the choice I was left with was to just run caveman polls. I used to do these with Patreon back before Patreon had a poll feature; external poll websites are prone to VPN abuse, and I want to try and safeguard against any exploitation, so I'll just tally up the votes myself and run that extra bit of work to make sure things don't get trashed. There's also the issue of goals. I can't say for sure yet how many people are going to sign up now that the month has started. The previous goals were all inflated a little bit to account for one patron who paid a much higher amount than normal and funded regular commissions off of me with it. Without that money to bump the count, I am going to say that the goal will be 15,000 yen, the equivalent of 150, at which point the second story runner up will be unlocked. After that, every 7,500 yen will be another story and we'll scale from there. To keep this transparent, I will include a start-of-month tally of my pledges starting from September onward, to show how many stories will be written. If I can get up to that goal (I'm approximately 1/5 of the way there as of the writing of this) before month's end, this will retroactively get its runner-up poll. With that business settled, it's time for the poll. I figured we're in August. The height of summer, at least where I live.
