Added 2024-11-08 16:42:35 +0000 UTCStill working on the second Black Tiger novel, and on revising the first Black Tiger novella into ... something else, since a significant group of scenes appear in Slayer's Rain (mainly the extensive milking scenes in Zeron's lab).
One thing I'm dealing with in each new work is a thing that Black Tiger really doesn't show much at the time most of these comics occur: he was engineered with a significant degree of predator instinct that comes out in bursts of violence that he's so far been able to contain. Now so back when he was a teenager....
Also nailing down the lore on Vampires, which you saw some of in the Nocturne series and will see again. When someone becomes a vampire they are basically a mindless eating machine for years and years unless their master takes some steps - which most do not bother with. Their former personality and memory is wiped out, replaced by the endless eternal thirst of the vampire. As they age (few last more than a handful of years, since they lack most of the powers and have even more significant vulnerabilities until they pass, oh, ten years or so) they get more and more intelligent, and can start to plan and wear clothes again, etc. When they pass a century or so, they begin to lose many of their vulnerabilities.
That's when they become truly dangerous.
