He had already been accepted to MIT on a Kameny Science Grant; he planned to major in metahuman physics, inspired by his big brother's super-speed and vibratory powers. Sadly, a few weeks after this was taken, he was murdered by Steeljock and Axiom during a daring daylight robbery of the Iron Harbor National Bank, where he was working as a teller.
That event prompted Jordi to become the superhero Blue Bolt.
