Mistake
Added 2022-09-08 17:38:31 +0000 UTCWell, Fratrevenge 3 contains a little callback to a number of years ago. Despite looking at the comic 'Freedom' just a day before creating the new comic, I still got a major plot point wrong.
The reason Nick Martin hates Tyler/Redshift so much is that Tyler broke his hold over Blue Bolt (whom he'd enslaved in the very first Blue Bolt comic) AND gave him hypnotic commands of his own:
"Release Blue Bolt forever! He can no longer be hypnotized by you! Go to everyone you've ever done this to, and tell them the same! Then... forget you have superpower, forever."
"And, you're impotent."
So, for some reason I thought Tyler was included in the hypnotic command as well, but he is NOT. So, plot hole. Why is Tyler not affected by Martin's re-built hypno rays? (And BTW, the frat boys are operating the thing and really giving the commands, not Martin, so it does work on Blue Bolt).
(And yes, I know Blue Bolt told the frat boys to forget about the hypnotron tech, and they have, but ... plot point in the next thing).
