Added 2022-08-26 15:01:02 +0000 UTCIf you only know Captain America from the recent movies, you might not be aware that back in the 40's, Bucky wasn't a strapping adult but a scrappy teenager in a mask, Cap's kid sidekick throughout the war. Ditched when Cap was revived as a character by Stan Lee in the 60's. For decades, the Golden Rule at Marvel was that only two characters ever stayed dead-dead: Uncle Ben, and Bucky, mainly because their deaths were major character moments for other heroes. Finally, after many, many years, Bucky came back as The Winter Soldier.
