So, the other day (and from talking to some people, I'm not alone) I got a nasty-gram from Patreon about the content on this page. Yeah, after /four years/. I wrote back, but so far there has been no response. I have no idea how long that takes, or if it will lead anywhere at all.

However, given the nature of corporations and such, who knows what will happen or if there will be any appeal if something does go down.

This is worrying, because this is how I pay for my house. Without it, things become very tight indeed. Not bank-throws-you-out-of-the-house tight, but... enough. Enough that there is no wiggle room whatsoever.

IN THE EVENT that this page goes dark with no warning from me, you can stroll over to https://subscribestar.adult/ebonart-gallery - The same content will be there in a more compact form (since I'll do things like post all the Blue Bolt stories together, etc) after a certain point. I'll post any new content automatically. Subscribestar also does not deal with paypal. Price is the same for comics but I won't at this time be offering the lower tiers. (I would have phased them out years ago but some of you have been here since the beginning).

So, nothing may happen, something may happen, or everything may happen. I don't know which at this point, but there is a bolt hole available for those of you craving the Ebonart brand of pr0n mayhem. Also if you just want to ditch patreon altogether - I've had at least two users get tangled up in their shenanigans so far.

UPDATE

I got a response and have implemented their 'suggestions'. I have no idea if this will fix the problem, given their loosey-goosey standards. I'd STRONGLY SUGGEST at this point to consider moving. I don't WANT to - it's taken me almost five years to build a solid readership and I'd hate to start all over again. But we'll see.

UPDATE TWO

OK, I followed their instructions and thing seem to be back to normal. For now. I am still extremely distrustful of the eventual outcome of this, though.

I'm going to leave the other site up. It should still be a good place for the people that have problems with Patreon's system or who cannot/do not use it for various reasons.
