The biggest difference is that the 3D environment is NOT a wysiwyg environment. Things that look OK in prep look like ass when you actually render them. As a filmmaker you'd probably have an /easier/ time of it now since the introduction of iRay lighting in DAZ (which is what I use). There, light behaves much more like light in the real world.

As a retired filmmaker, I enjoy seeing these "tests". Helps me understand a bit the processes you go through on this "foreign"- to -me medium.Thanks for posting them.
